Microsoft Rolls Out January 2024 Patch, Addressing a Total of 49 Vulnerabilities, Including 12 Remote Code Execution Flaws

Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday for January 2024 includes a set of 49 new patches across various products. This release tackles a total of 12 Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerabilities, with two critical vulnerabilities identified. These critical flaws involve a Feature Bypass vulnerability in Windows Kerberos Security (CVE-2024-20674) and an RCE vulnerability in Hyper-V (CVE-2024-20700). System administrators are strongly advised to perform immediate updates.
