Sales operation manager
Sales operations managers interact with all levels of the sales team. For new sales team members, they help with training, onboarding and mentoring. With sales leaders and managers, they help make data-driven decisions and recommendations for improving the sales funnel and process.
Responsibilities
The goal of sales operations is to reduce friction in the sales process, so salespeople are successful in their day-to-day activities. A sales operations manager is responsible for supervising a team of sales operations specialists.
Leadership and prior sales operations experience are required. Sales operations managers report to the MD. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a higher level of education like a master’s degree is recommended for those applying to senior operations manager positions.
